Lawyers in prison in Turkey are on hunger strike
Lawyers from the Office of Halkın Hukuk Bürosu (Law Office for the People - HHB) and the Association of Progressive Lawyers (ÇaÄŸdaÅŸ Hukukçular DerneÄŸi-ÇHD) declared with a press release that they start on February 3, 2020 the hunger strike against the continuing injustice.

Lawyers from the Office of Halkın Hukuk Bürosu (Law Office for the People - HHB) and the Association of Progressive Lawyers (ÇaÄŸdaÅŸ Hukukçular DerneÄŸi-ÇHD) are particularly well known for defending revolutionaries, the families of the miners who died in the explosion of the Soma mine (301 dead), the demonstrators killed during the Gezi uprising, teachers who were purged, and Kurdish and left-wing opponents kidnapped and/or executed by death squads.
